Water Deluge systems

SANCO deluge systems are designed to protect areas with a high fire risk, such as refineries, petrochemical plants, power stations and critical zones within industrial processes.

Unlike sprinkler systems, the nozzles of deluge systems are always open: water flow is activated by a signal from the fire detection system or by manual release.

When the control valve opens, large volumes of water are discharged simultaneously over the entire protected area, ensuring full coverage, rapid heat suppression and immediate cooling of exposed structures.

This solution is ideal in the presence of flammable liquids, overheated metal surfaces or process equipment where preventing fire spread and re-ignition is essential.

Each system is engineered based on dedicated hydraulic calculations and thorough risk analysis, using certified components and corrosion-resistant materials, in compliance with NFPA, EN, and UNI standards. Integration with fire and gas detection systems enables prompt and coordinated activation, enhancing the overall safety level of the facility.

Sprinkler systems

SANCO’s sprinkler systems provide automatic, continuous and reliable fire protection for civil, industrial, and commercial buildings.

Each sprinkler head is equipped with a heat-sensitive element that activates when a predefined temperature is reached, discharging water directly onto the affected area.

This rapid and targeted response controls the fire in its early stages and cools structural components to limit its spread.

This technology is ideal for widespread protection in industrial facilities, warehouses, parking garages, shopping centers, office buildings and public infrastructure, integrating permanently within the structure.

SANCO manufactures sprinkler systems in the following main configurations:
• Wet systems: for heated or continuously occupied environments, where the fastest response is required
• Dry and pre-action systems: for unheated or freeze-prone areas, or where the risk of accidental discharge must be minimized

Water Mist systems

SANCO water mist systems represent a new-generation firefighting technology based on the discharge of high-pressure micro-droplets.

The ultra-fine particles, with an extremely small diameter, rapidly absorb heat, reduce the oxygen concentration in the affected area and suppress combustion while simultaneously cooling the environment without damaging machinery or sensitive equipment.

Thanks to the physical principle of evaporation, water mist technology delivers outstanding extinguishing performance using significantly lower water volumes compared to traditional sprinkler systems.

This results in reduced water damage, faster recovery times and a lower environmental impact, making these systems ideal for applications where safety, operational continuity and equipment integrity are priorities.
