The scope covered a complete range of fire protection and safety solutions, including fire water hydrants, hose storage boxes, water and foam monitors, local foam storage tanks with AFFF 3% concentrate, automatic deluge valves, water spray nozzles, bladder tanks, foam chambers, and low-expansion branchpipes. Complementary systems included portable and wheeled dry powder extinguishers, CO₂ units, safety showers, eyewash stations, fire blankets, first aid kits, containment cabinets, chemical shelters, HFC-227ea systems, and full fire & safety signage, ensuring comprehensive emergency preparedness.

For the Al-Zour Refinery project, SANCO provided a comprehensive range of fire protection equipment, including portable and wheeled dry chemical powder extinguishers, hose reels, wet barrel hydrants, fixed and elevated fire monitors, steam lances, and water spray nozzles. Additionally, multiple deluge valve skids in various sizes (6", 4", 3") were supplied within suitable enclosures, einforcing the refinery’s safety infrastructure and ensuring maximum protection across all operational areas.”

Future Growth & Wellhead Pressure Management (Tengiz Field)

A large-scale fire protection package was delivered, comprising 32 skids with 59 deluge valves in insulated heated enclosures, 24 engineered foam systems with 48 deluge valves, and a foam skid with two 52,000-liter tanks, providing 104,000 liters of AFFF 3% foam concentrate. The supply also included alarm valves and 92 skid-mounted HFC227ea units with cylinders, all engineered to perform reliably in extreme environmental conditions.

    The solution is widely used to protect high hazard areas, where there is the potential risk that a fire could grow faster than an ordinary sprinkler system can control.

    It is also ideal for dedicated coverage of critical equipment on board of ships or offshore, such as: transformers, bulk storage tanks, horizontal & vertical vessels, pumps, jettles, water curtain escape routes, car decks and ferries, gas and chemical carriers.

    SANCO can supply valves complete with trim (electric, pneumatic or hydraulic type) as loose material, skid mounted, with roof against sun radiations or inside an insulated/heated enclosure suitable for extreme weather conditions.
